WHAT IS CERAMIC COATING?

Ceramic coating being applied to car glass

Ceramic coating is a liquid coating that bonds to the vehicle's paintwork and forms a durable protective layer once cured.

Before any ceramic coating is applied, the paintwork must be properly prepared. Paint Enhancement or Full Paint Correction is required before coating, depending on the condition of the vehicle.

This ensures the paint is as clean, smooth and refined as possible before the coating is applied. Once prepared, the paint is panel wiped and checked before the coating is applied by hand.

Final Inspection

The vehicle is thoroughly washed and chemically and mechanically decontaminated to remove dirt, fallout and bonded contaminants from the paintwork.

The paint is inspected and prepared for coating. Where required, machine polishing can be carried out to improve the finish before the coating is applied.

Once the paintwork has been prepared, the ceramic coating is applied by hand, panel by panel. The vehicle is then left to cure overnight in our temperature-controlled indoor environment, giving the coating the time and conditions it needs to properly cure before the vehicle is collected.

Once the coating has cured, the vehicle is given a final inspection under professional lighting to check the finish and make sure everything is ready before collection.

WHY CHOOSE CERAMIC COATING?

A ceramic coating gives your paintwork an extra layer of protection while making day-to-day maintenance easier.

The strong water repellency helps water and dirt run off the surface more easily, while the coating provides added resistance against everyday contaminants and environmental exposure.

It also helps maintain the gloss and finish of your paintwork, making it easier to keep your vehicle looking clean between washes.

If you take pride in keeping your car looking its best and want to make maintaining the finish easier, ceramic coating is a worthwhile investment.
